Of course, your absolutely right, George! I do hope that my US$50
price *wasn't* taken to mean that an OM-10 with lens and manual
adapter "typically" goes for that price on e-Bay. Just like the US$130
someone recently paid for an OM-10 and 50/1.8 (no manual adapter)
isn't typical!

But, if you bide your time, you *can* get one at somewhere near
(maybe a little more but not much) that price. I've seen them go
(without manual adapter) for well under US$50, although the "typical"
price is more like US$70 or thereabouts. I've also seen manual
adapters go for US$20 although tye "typical" price is more like US$30
and up.

So, with alot (repeat... ALOT!) of patience, one could put together an
OM-10 kit for a cost in the US$50 to US$70 price range. Will it be
pretty??? Probably not! But, if you get a working kit at that price who
cares???

In other words, if one just HAS to have it NOW, by all means go ahead
and spend US$100 or more. But, if one can wait patiently and exercise
prudent bidding, one can get it for less!

Congratulations on your good fortune for getting good prices for your
sales! Frankly, prices on e-Bay (for the short-term, anyway) are like the
wind... they change on a frequent basis. It all depends on who's
bidding at any given point of time, and whether the seller is lucky 'nuff
that there's some silly person who's prepared to spend $130 for an OM-
10 with 50/1.8 (for example) looking at your item on that day.

In short, patience, intelligent bidding, and the ability to "walk away"
when it goes above what you're really willing to pay... those are the
name of the game!

Regards,

Chris
