If you have a few days the trip through the Yarra Valley to Healesville is
great. If you go to Healsville Sanctuary don?t miss the Birds of Prey
flights. A wedge tailed eagle flying just over your head is awesome. I think
the times are 11:00 am and 3:00pm but check at the entrance if you go. Also
note at the back of the ampitheatre are some patches of green carpet where the
birds are taught to land. If you want good photo?s stand or sit to the side
of those. Near the Sanctuary is Badger Creek Weir. This is pleasant stop on
a hot day although it can be crowed on the Weekend. We often come home via Mt
Donna Buang and Warburton. This is a nice drive through Mountain Ash forest.
Some dirt road but not much.

In melbourne the bayside beaches are good. Sunset is a good time to visit the
beaches for photographs. Williamstown is worth a visit. About 8 km from the
city to the west. Good views of Melbourne from the foreshore. A walk along
the Yarra River and nearby parkland?s is pretty good.

Peter?s suggestion of the great ocean road is good. It is a truly great
drive. As the Mornington Penisular. Be sure to visit the surf beaches at
Sorento or Gunnamatta, but be careful if want to swim it can be dangerous.
Good photo ops though.

It depends on your interests and the time available.
