The T32 puts out an angle of flash equivalent to 28mm I think.

It's actually wider and will cover the AOV of a 24mm. With the wide-angle diffuser it covers the AOV of a 21mm. Makes the T-32 and its GN one of the widest coverages with and without a WA adapter. Many only have coverage for 35mm lens without a WA adapter.

Also, I think you know this Acer, the flash tilts downward about 5 deg or so.

It's 15 degrees, although it doesn't look like it's that far. :-)
I thought the same until I looked it up.

You might also make use of the wide angle diffuser that comes with the
T32 filter pack also.

The WA diffuser also doubles as a ND 2 filter over the flash.
