I can't really afford fast glass. Heck, I'd be delighted with a 300/4.5,
never mind a 350/2.8 (wouldn't say no...). Mind you, I was out in the snow
over Christmas and I have to say that looking through the 85/2 on my OM1n
with Beatty grid screen was a revelation compared with the OM2n fitted with
the 35-70/4. I bought the Beatty because of the combination of grid and
diagonal split-screen. Suits me, sir.
