The CL is the easiest Leica to load.
Doesn't it work without the battery? - I wouldn't know as the Mercury 625
seems to last forever (at least mine has). I'm more worried about battery
expiry in my OM2sp. (Sunny 16 rules!)

I am afraid I have to disagree. Loading film into an M series Leica
is very easy and precise with no worries about slipping out of the
take up reel.

OK Winsor - standard OM list response. Send me your M (number regardless,
