$2950, and good quality & handling is a great thing, and refreshing to hear
in this thread. The only excuse for cheap plastic parts and body in a FIFTY
THOUSAND DOLLAR chevy is that is is legally allowed to have the word
"corvette" as its nameplate. It amazes me that wealthy people can casually
toss away over 50 grand on a whim for one of these only because of the name.
Of course they can't use the speed, so that blows much of its fun aspect
(except showing off), and no room (you don't buy one of these for
practicality - For a molecule more practicality, even buying a 1999, or 2000
'vette will get you the same looks, and save you THOUSANDS, but you won't be
able to say its a "2001", and people buying a 2001 obviously don't consider
a few thou a big deal!- I definately can't relate. :) )
Its also nice that porsche is bettering their fit and finish issues.
