Well I've got three Lowe Pro

Orion Trekker - daypack size backpack with camera gear store in base. I really
like this bag, as I can carry lunch etc as well. You have to take it
off to access anything. I find I can fit a couple of OM bodies, 24mm, 100mm,
28-48mm and 65-200mm in it although the 65-200 vertically is a bit of a stretch.

Omni Trekker - my carry on bag, this is huge at least by my standards (although
probably not to Tom :-)). It currently contains 6 OM's, T32, T20, BG2, 3x
Winders, 24mm, 2x28mm 2x 28-48mm, 35-70mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65-200, 75-150mm, 100mm,
100-200mm and a 200mm.

With all that it weighs in at 16kilos but is the most comfortable way I know to
carry this much gear. It has a backpack harness which tucks out of harms way,
but is quite well designed and comfortable to carry. As well as the fully
opening top it also has a zip open side panel where you can access frequently
used gear. Probably my favourite, although too much for day trips. It's also
designed to fit into a Pelican 1550 case, but I don't have one.

Photo Trekker - full of stuff that does not fit into the other bags. I find
this bag fairly uncomfortable to carry with any amount of gear, the harness
system on the Omni is much better. But then I'm somewhat challenged in the
height department so your experience may be different. This one lives in the
bottom of the closet. I occasionally lend it to people I don't like much, but
who don't know it (N*k*n users :-) )

Hope this helps

Stephen
