I keep saying this to people who shun the Pentax 645 because it does not have 
interchangeable backs. My answer is just to waste the rest of the roll, 
losing an average of 7 shots. The cost of this is just  a few bucks. You 
could "waste" one half of a hundred to two hundred rolls of film for the cost 
of a Hassy A12 back. As a practical matter you would never be changing film 
types (slides, prints, or B&W) that often.
