Publishing is done all the time under pseudonyms. On many occasions it is
done to preserve privacy of notable or otherwise highly recognizable
individuals.

If the individual is for some other reason famous, notable or very
newsworthy, you may be preserving your host machine's bandwidth some by
precluding a horde of hits from simply curious onlookers and those who want
to scam his images from your gallery. In addition, the submitter may wish
to have his images judged on a basis of their pure merit, rather than with
association with something not related to photography.

Provided you are comfortable you know his true identity, the submission is
not being made under a pseudonym for some purpose of evasion other than
preserving privacy, and that the pseudonym is consistently used, I have no
problem with such a posting in the gallery.

Many might be tempted simply to set one up and use it without asking or
letting you know first. I do admire someone who at least does that to
ensure you have no problems with it.
