Yeah. An M42 lens is a bit smaller. I've heard rumours of a magic
M42 adaptor that fits *inside* the OM mount, but never seen one.

Why not find a crappo OM teleconverter and saw it in half to get the
mounts (or unscrew them). I have two (single element! be afraid!)
crappo OM teleconverters that I paid $30 each for, which was probably
too much.

The adaptors have a lens. You'd need to take the lens out, or build
one without. Why not convert the bellows to T-mount, (42mm but
different thread pitch). OM to T-mount adaptors are cheap and need no
lens (T-mount is designed with deeper than normal mount distance so
that adaptors for most 35mm cameras need no lens).

Look for an enlarger lens in 42mm, or a 39mm enlarging lens and a step
ring.

Or reverse a 50mm M42 lens using an M42 reversing ring (paid $5 for
one of those).

Send me the tubes and buy the bellows.

Glad to be able to help, :-)
