[OM] Conversion of pentax screw bellows to OM?

Subject: [OM] Conversion of pentax screw bellows to OM?

Hi everybody,
I just came across a set of secondhand pentax screwmount bellows in as-new
condition in a local camera store for only A$99. They're just regular
bellows, no tilt or shift, and of course no auto aperture, but that's a
very tempting price!
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on the feasibility of converting them
to OM mount? Are the lensmount diameters reasonably similar? I have access
to the parts I would need, with a dead OM10 to scavenge from for the front
of the bellows and a heavily fungated nasty old 28mm for the rear (or I
could just get a screw-OM adaptor I guess, but that's extra cost and less
fun). I'm fairly handy, but don't have access to a lathe if it would
require such major surgery. Does anyone have any tips (eg "Save your
money!")?

The second alternative is to just use a screw to OM adapter on the rear,
and pick up a cheap screwmount lens for it. This may be the better option
since I have no OM macro lens anyhow - can anyone recommend a good, cheap,
common screw-mount macro lens?

The third option is not to buy it at all, but someone will have to give me
advice on kicking this addiction. I don't _need_ a set of bellows,
especially having just completed (thanks to Wayne Harridge) my set of auto
extensiopn tubes!
Dylan
