===I am simply happy with the center weighted average metering and the other

Like Mr. Keith Berry, I have never felt I need a spot meter.

Okay?====

I never felt I needed a spot meter either.
I would like one now and may just get a OM2K for the near future.
The OM2n has an overall average meter.
The OM2 original style has a center weighted pattern on the curtain
which is effective for higher speeds. Other exposures are read off the film
including TTL flash.
I always felt that was the ultimate camera.
That is until recently when I found out through this group that
the meter is not center weighted just the curtain pattern.
That would give two different exposures depending on shutter speeds.
In that case I would prefer overall average and spot.
