and lack of civility, whether in business, social situations,
educational environments, government, especially government at any
level, are absolutely endemic whereever you go. Frankly, I gave up long
ago expecting any better.

Most camera stores are like this. It is because of the
window shopping done at the store and the buying done on the phone
at B&H after the camera store spends time showing you the wares.
Camera stores are expensive and instead of solving their problem they
just get a bad attitude and act rude and defensive.
The other problem about general rudeness and bad service is apathy
on the part of the consumer.
