Dear SiliconFilm,

Your "Guest Book" on your web site is not very promising for minority
players -- neither my printer (QMS) nor camera (Olympus) nor digital
camera (Vivitar) were allowed as options. You should at least have an
"other" that can be selected, so I don't think I'm casting a vote for
Canon, which remains selected when one fills in the "other" fields.

Thank goodness your form at least allowed me select Macintosh!

I realize you want to address as large a market as possible, but with
your odd-ball product, specs, and price -- which don't really compete
well with digital cameras -- you should probably pay more attention to
those who "Think different."

In particular, it seems to me that those with large investments in
exotic optics would be more likely to buy your product than would be the
owner of your initial target models (consumer wonderbrick cameras), who
is more likely to just buy a digital camera instead. My guess is a
Leica, Contax, or Olympus owner is more likely to buy your product than
a Canon or Nikon owner.

It would seem to me that the beauty of your concept is the universality
of the 35mm format, which you negate when you target specific model owners.
