This msg seems to contradict itself. First part quotes someone who agrees that 
dimples are a problem, 2nd part says you've never spoken to anyone who's had a 
problem with dimples.

In any case, if conversing over the net can be defined as "spoken to", then I'd 
be the 2nd one you've spoken to who's seen the problem. (Actually the 3rd 
since, wasn't it Hank Hogan, who posted a photo page showing the problem - 
albeit very vaguely?)

That said, I think it was my OM-1, but all the pressure plates look the same to 
me, be it from my -1s, -2s, or -4s.

Make no mistake, the problem exists.  Take another look at some of your denser 
IR negs thru a good 4x 0r better 8x loupe with a strong light source behind.  
I'll bet you'll see dimples in the black areas.
