I'd like to experiment with shooting some infrared film, but have
read in the archives that our beloved Oly dimples on the backplate
may cause problems.
Short of replacing the back plate (which seems like an expensive
solution for a novelty effect), what temporary fixes are available?
Also- given this problem, what is the purpose of the dimples? Are
they giving me an advantage on other types of film?
