I can second Skip's statement, as many years ago when I bought my
first OM-4T new, I got away without paying sales tax because the store let me
take it with me, and shipped a bag that I bought at the same time to my home.
Lo and behold, MUCH later, (a year I think), I got a very official looking
and sounding letter from my state (also NJ) DEMANDING I remit the sales tax
immediately, (or else) which I did.
