Hello Gary.

You can parallel the winder circuitry, but you must watch polarity.
Centre pins must be connected to one contact of your new pushbutton,
and outside contacts must be connected to the other. 

AFAIK you don't even need an external switch: if you connect two
winders by a length of 2-wire cable with two miniplugs connected at
both ends (watch polarity again!) you can fire both from one of the
built-in pushbuttons. This is the set-up used in stereo sets.


I think that it is wise to use the same sort of battery for both (or
all) winders in use, because during the short interval of pusthing the
button the batteries will be interconnected. Or connnect them to one
and the same external battery/AC adapter...

You cannot use motor drives and winders together in the same circuit
because polarity and voltage are different. Even the MD1 and MD2 are
different with respect to polarity.
