Hi All,
Well, I and several other people (at camera stores) have been stumped on the
identification of this adapter. I am sure someone here will know just what
this thing is and what it fits.

This looks like an oversized Varimagni Finder that attaches to the lens mount
of an OM body.
I'll start from the body and go out.
1. The body mounting adapter is like, although not the same size, (and does
not fit) as the one on the OM Bellows. It fits into a collar(1/2" deep) and
has a groove / locking screw so the body can rotate 360 degrees.
2. The Body / Collar is attached to a 90 degree mirror assembly (like our OM
Varimagni) but is 1 & 1/2 inches wide.
3. On the outside of the mirror (inside the box) is an "aperture - diaphragm"
with an outside lever to adjust the aperture with 1-5 reference marks.
4. The mirror / aperture box is attached to another adapter collar. This one
is only 1 inch O.D. This collar has a grove cut into the outside as well to
allow 360 degree rotation to (whatever it attaches to).
5. When looking through the 'body' side, it gives a very wide angle effect.
Likewise when looking through the 'objective' side it gives a magnified
effect.
There are no "Olympus" markings anywhere on the assembly, although is seems to
be very well made.
My first thought is it is some kind of telescope right angle adapter, or
possibly for an endoscope.
Can someone identify this thing? Anyone know what a $ value would be?
Thanks,
Buddy Walters
