I use Dust Off, a commercial canned air.
I _try_ to do this after every out door excursion.
As for the shutter, I only do it if it is really needed (almost never).
Then I hold the can far away without a tube that concentrates the stream of
air.
I aim almost away from the shutter so it gets just a breath of air.

Don't forget to do the same with the lenses, front and back.  And inside the
lens mount.
Remove the focusing screen first.  Easy does it, that's the key.

The battery contacts I wipe about every 2 months with a clean, dust free and
dry cloth.
Being in Florida can be like living under water sometimes (humidity).


I would like advice on lens cleaning and filter cleaning.
