Spotmetering?

Yes, I know you can switch the F5 to spotmetering, but to work with it
is a little bit strenuouse.
An EOS500 has selective metering too, but to actualy use a technique,
you need a proper user interface, this is lacking on most of the
cameras.
Many cameras have spotmetering, some of them even try to establish a
sort of multispot metering (T90, EOS3, some M*noltas), but I have never
seen one, with an comperable perfect user interface as the OM-4.
I can use the spotmetering on my OM-4 without looking on the respective
buttons, it´s very intuitive. So I´m actualy using this feature of the
camera and have a real benefit of it.
Another part of the easy use and a big advantage of the OM-4 is the
analoge style bargraph. It´s big and good to read, in comparasion to the
pathetic small me to version of the F5.
If you depend on an precise exposure (I use slides), than nothing beats
an OM-4,3/Ti.

Richard
