[OM] T32 Flash operation with OM-4Ti

Hi all,

It's amazing how in the past week, I've been answering questions in the
newsgroups on manual cameras for astrophotography, spot metering, etc.
but am completely embarrassed to ask this most basic question - how do I
use a T32 flash on the OM-4Ti??

Bearing in mind that the last time I learnt to use a manual flash was
17-18 years ago when I was 10 years old. Since then the cameras in my
life had complete control of the shot - thanks (a lot) to automation and
program modes.

If I recall, the shutter is fixed on 1/60th and I had to look at the
distance of the subject then work on some metres to F-stop table to
determine the aperture?? Does that sound correct?? Or does the OM-4Ti
and T32 have some sort of intelligent system where I just point, focus
and shoot??

I found the table on the T32 flash but don't understand some of the
markings (namely the bottom row with the 3 notches, sliding bar, and the
orange manual/auto markings). How do I use those?? Or should I just
ignore them and just work on the ISO/distance/F-stop table??

I'm sorry for this basic question but the whole system was 2nd hand and
no manuals were provided (yes I have questions on the OM-4Ti too
especially the memory/clear lever). Also as metioned before, my past 17
years of flash photography has been completely in program mode.

Thanks in advance for your assistance,
Sean
