Can't quite decide if you meant "next shot" or "this shoot", (or if I just don't
quite get English) but at any rate...

Actually in some ways it's weirder than that, the manual (OM4) indicates that it
remembers the setting for the next 60? minutes +/- (and may be next 60 minutes
as long as you don't give the camera an opportunity to turn off).

I was thinking of trying it with shots of a succession of objects (well ok
antique camera's) in the same setting/lighting to keep the relative color
balance of the objects.  (John Prosper's example sounds more like the manual's
notes on it's usefullness).  On second thought why the heck wouldn't I just
write down the displayed settings and use manual?
