Not really. I am fairly fast at changing lenses. The only
times I really miss a normal zoom is in situations where I
can't move (e.g., theater/stage photography) or those
calling for really fast lens changing. I am committed to
getting a 35-80/2.8 eventually anyway. I got rid of the
35-70/3.6 because it tends to be a tad slow for stage work
and to help finance the purchase of the 90/2 while I was in
school. I don't miss a normal zoom very much these days
mostly because I have eased back on the stage work.
