Personally, I think PvT is an important resource to have around. Since
we're all flogging our own gear here anyway I think chastising Paul for
doing the same
puts us on shaky moral ground. Granted, there is a distinction since we
aren't pursuing it as a business. Perhaps the solution here is, that if
Paul has something that he thinks someone might want (based upon their
messages posted to the group) he can contact them directly rather than
posting an 'ad' to the group. Would this be a satisfactory solution for
everyone? Personally, I'm a bit tired of having to delete a lot of mail
flaming other people on the group. Just as annoying as unsoliticited ads if
you ask me.
