[OM] OM2/OM4 question: fill flash

Subject: [OM] OM2/OM4 question: fill flash

My wife has an old Olympus OM-1 that she inherited, while I have a big new
modern Nikon. I really like the size of the Olympus cameras, and I find I
really don't need many of the Nikon's features, and I've been thinking about
shrinking my camera stuff by getting a second OM body. But I was wondering
if someone could tell me one thing:

One of the nicest things about the new Nikons is the way one can set
fill-flash ratios for either the automatic or manual modes. I have a cheaper
Nikon flash, and usually do this by setting exposure in manual mode and then
adjusting the exposure compensation so that the TTL flash underexposes the
flash exposure. Of course the more expensive Nikon flash guns can do this
automatically.

I was wondering if this would work on either the OM2 or the OM4.

Thanks,
Pete
