When these first came out 13+ years ago, I bought one for a 14 night
Mediterranean cruise.
I did not want to haul around my E330 and a few lenses
I found this camera to be quite satisfactory for that trip. I have
always expected good optics from Olympus and the 550UZ delivered
I came back with about 5,000 photos to sort through
After returning home I sold the camera on eBay and the bidding was 15
dollars or so off what I paid.
These days I keep a Pen-F in the car for snap shots with bigger bodies
and more glass available as needed
