I like two of the owl pictures, but I'd lump both sets in generally
speaking as "it's a photograph because the photographer was there." I
saw them as following the "formulas for success" instead of moving the
art forward. I did like the tennis player picture, though.
Full disclosure: The vast majority of my own pictures are absolutely
no different. I can think of less than five pictures I've ever taken
that would be classified as moving the art forward with the rest
falling under the above criticism of the two sets. I'm critical
because I expected more. I expected to be engaged. I wasn't.
