Yes.

How large is the lens 'pod' that sticks out? LensMate makes adapters to add
filter threads to compact camera zoom lenses. The receiver attaches with
adhesive and the filter holder bayonets onto the receiver.

I have this one for my ZS200. Works well and holds even an achromatic C-U lens
securely. Clear internal opening just over 40 mm. They have other, similar
models for other cameras.

Might be adaptable.

Hmmm,

Perhaps that would work and sufficiently cockamamie to get my attention. I
could put a real OMZ lens cap on and pretend I have a fruity Zuiko. Problem I
see is the lens complex is in the corner of the phone with a straight
edge---sufficient radius to cover the lenses would extend beyond the phone and
threaten poor adherence. I don't have the phones yet and can't measure and
finding those measurements is not easy. There is room for a proper 3rd party
solution here. if they had multi-coated high quality covers, I suppose just
replace when needed. The Olixar ones do not inspire confidence. A thin tailored
mount like Lensmate with magnet and matching cap would be fine. Would get
extras for inevitable loss.

I enjoyed and appreciated the innovative thought on the subject.

I really don't like my previous solutions that much. The Pitaka case inserted
into the slimmest belt case that can fit is OK but rather large still. I have
no desire for the Max (or the non existent super Max with shutter) that Marnie
will get as no interest in carrying a surfboard around all day. The Pro has
more RAM and a bit better cam and likely future proofs it for longer at the
cost of increased size.

I did stumble on a holster style belt case that is not as optimal as my current
case:

The camera issue remains however.

Solution seeking, Mike
