Pretty much. But fortunately, his was one of those ultimate "barn
find" aircraft so he could afford to do whatever he wanted with it. He
did a bunch of his own wrenching on it too so that helped matters a
lot. But that paint job and new interior probably cost more than the
aircraft itself.
