1) Facebook is working just fine;
2) There is nothing strange if a telco is using a network connection that 
seemingly is crazy from a geographical point of view. What matters is the 
bandwidth available on various routes etc. With the signals travelling at the 
speed of light or close to it, it does not matter whether the server is 400 or 
8000 miles away.
3) Do you ever take pictures?
