There are a lot of decent A7riii's on the market now. I have noticed quite a
few gas-aholics unloading theirs on fredmiranda in order to fund the new iv.

Most of my shooting cannot utilize the pixel-shift feature, too much trouble
with motion...

a7riii Pixel-shift: Having the fastest mode of 1 second between pixel shift
shots does make sense to me. I thought I heard it was for flash cycle time
recovery?? Why not utilize the silent shutter mode and fire off 4 shifted shots
as fast as possible? 1 second is enough for a lot of things to move around when
a camera can do 10fps.

Probably the best new feature of the iv is the grip.
