Agreed.

Look at the bills/checks, they usually show if service is included, or not. If 
it is, the guy/lady will get their wages/salary alright at the end of the 
month. Different uses to the US indeed. And you won’t get shouted at if you 
don’t tip. 

Rounding up is also my usual practice, more or less generously, depending on 
the quality of the service.
