     You needn't remind me.  Even more so on a bicycle.  I'm constantly looking 
all around me looking for potential conflicts.  I've come close a number of 
times by way of people running stop signs and traffic lights.

     We recently had a horrific fatal accident here.  A fellow driving down a 
street in a full-size pickup with his two stepsons collided with and went right 
over an SUV that ran a red light.  He had no opportunity to stop.  The top of 
the SUV was shreddded as he went over it.
