| I have never use any camera case or screen protection for my Nokia 720,
830 and 950. I can't remember how many times I have drop them on the
floor but mostly hard wood, no damage on screen. The worse case I
remember was dropping the Lumia 830 on a rocky surface from six feet
during a visit to my brother in Australia. I was expecting it broken
into pieces but finally it only got some dents on the aluminum rim and
of course it was still working well.

Dropping the phone is not good. I experienced replacing the screen on Samsung
S5. The display connector on the circuit board is very fragile. Just inserting
the connector at a slight angle can bend the pins, then replacing the display
won't work no matter what. I tried putting it under a microscope to fix one of
the pins. Never got it to work with brand new display.
I love and hate my Samsung S7. The finally go rid of the constant "install enhanced
features". Great hardware and camera, just wish it wasn't bloated.
