Believe me, Piers, Government departments are very tight with their dosh at the
moment (and probably for ever). For instance my uniformed managers want me to
drive their crappy MT vehicles for work visits in the UK (or as far as
Ramstein) because that part of the budget requires less cash.
I’ll be retiring soon – again, for the 3rd time.
