Agree. If you didn't initiate a friend request, there's no reason why this
fellow should have received one from you. <g> There are all sorts of
variations on this game. If I get an e-mail notification that someone has
put in a friend request to me on FB, I go to my FB page and check it. I
still get caught from time to time. Last week I got a friend request from a
guy I went to high school with. Right picture, right info. I accepted. A day
or so later I noticed I had a message from him, one of those messenger
things, not a post on my timeline. It was a 'how are you?' kind of thing. I
say I was okay, 'you?' The response was interesting. He was fine and wanted
to share some really good news with me. I wrote back and asked if he was
real, or a robot. He said he was real. I figured he wasn't. So I asked for
the first line of our high school song. I was almost instantaneously
unfriended.
