These are all a part of exhibits at the Nelson Museum in Kansas City, the one in Missouri.

Now the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Mike Johnston has been making deals to move their new-old stock. I see, now that I look, that the books say Hallmark as publisher.

They now house the Hallmark photo collection that formerly lived at the greeting card company's nearby offices. I'm not really interested in the 'Civil War either, but the books are superb. Reproduction quality is tops. Well worth the money.

Yup. I recently bought the catalog from an Ansel Adams exhibit at another hyphenated museum, the Peabody-Essex. When I've seen an interesting exhibition, I sometimes look later for used copies of the expensive catalog. In this case, I got an essentially new one for 1¢, or $4, with shipping, less than 10% of the museum price.

Back to my point, the reproduction quality is OK to poor, a disappointment, although worth $4 to refresh my memory. Certainly in strong contrast to these beautifully printed books.
