My desktop was switched on this morning just as I got a call to
breakfast. Along with the last piece of toast I discovered that I was
being upgraded to Win 10 with no chance to turn back. The back button
put the download into a loop. All this without any request to "upgrade"
from Win 7 Pro ....!
Now I have Win 10 but and no backup disks should I need to do a
re-installation. Secondly I have this inane "Cortana" which invites me
to ask him / her "anything".
How or where do one acquire back up disks of Win 10.
Secondly how do I assign Cortana to the garbage bucket along with its
powers of seek and search on one's computer ?
