Range.  A choper lacks range.

Speed.  A chopper lacks speed.

So you have to get the attack helicopter to the target area and then launch it; 
then wait a few hours for the effect.

It’s a slight exaggeration, I accept, and I really like the attack helicopter, 
but it has to be used selectively.  Several of my former students are really 
enjoying their steed.  The aircrew whom I teach at the moment are yearning to 
get to the beast.

But the shooting torque turn over the target?  The chopper is stationary for 
too long and all the tank’s buddies are going to have a field day.
