I guess I’m odd man out in that I would recommend color, especially if you want
the gallery to be one or the other. I prefer the color because to my eye the
helmet plumage is more distracting in black and white than it is in color,
strange though that may sound. I went back and forth several times so I’m
pretty sure about what I think. <g> As for the menace, color does not reduce it.
The woman’s expression is priceless in either version, as is the expression of
the man in the center. If the woman turned that expression on me, I would fall
over backwards.
I couldn’t leave this one out of a gallery, and if the rest of the gallery is
color, I’d leave this one color, too.
