I have two Progo batteries and a Progo charger. I also have EZO batteries and, of course, Olympus batteries and chargers. They are all fully interchangeable. I've never tried to compare battery life based on battery brand or which charger did the charging. But I much prefer the Progo charger simply because it's smaller than the Oly charger and also has fold-away AC prongs. I bought an adapter for the Oly charger (actually advertised for some Apple product) that gives it fold-away prongs but I still reach for the Progo charger.

Yup, got those; big help.

Incidentally, the Progo charger is (except for the location of the battery contacts) identical to the charger for my Samsung WB-650. I got it on ebay after buying it along with a pair of no-name batteries. The charger has no name either.

Being the eclectic acquirer of odd cameras, I have several of those. All have identical looking cases, slightly different battery openings and contacts, and occasionally different nominal voltage ratings.

The design winner for me is Panny. The batteries for the GX7 and GM1 are the same size other than thickness, designed so both fit and charge properly in the same charger. The one that uses a big stiff cord like the Olys stays home. The one with flip out prongs travels with me.

The original Samsung charger is amongst the missing after the move but it's
probably around here somewhere.

I just noticed that there are big differences between the claimed mAh ratings. EZO says 1020 mAh, Olympus 1220 mAh and Progo 1600 mAh. I don't think I believe the Progo number but, as Moose implies, who cares if you've got multiple batteries in hand?

Maybe it was Progos I read a review about? Yes, I was wrong before. I read a review that claimed to have tested and proved that the Progos don't achieve their full 1600 mAh on the Oly charger, possibly because they don't communicate their charge state properly, and the charger defaults to less than full charge for safety. He also claimed the Progo doesn't fully charge the Oly batteries, due to its 8.4v nominal output, vs. the Oly's 8.7v.

So I did, in fact, later buy a Progo charger with a couple more of their batteries. The final reason was the 12v capability. On the road in our Turtle, I can completely dispense with the inverter that way. A couple of 12v outlets and a couple of dual USB adapters do it all. Yup, last trip or two were all Progo.

Thank Oly, the E-M5 II uses the same battery. :-)

I can only recall a few times where I had to change a battery while I was out shooting. But I do sometimes preemptively change batteries before I start shooting and I don't shoot 4-600 images/day as I used to years ago.

II have managed to go crazy enough to need second batteries for both cameras in
one day, but seldom.
