I've heard good things about Lynda.com, but must admit feeling a bit slow
as the pace of some of the tutorials is a bit fast.
The best kickstart I ever got was taking the 4 day class from Charlie
Cramer here near the San Jose airport. The man is just a fantastic
photographer and teacher. It's all about photography and just walks you
through most of what you need, with examples and your own work, to be far
ahead of most and able to understand new processes as you find them going
forward.
Best money I ever spent relative to photography. Folks from all around the
country come to take it.
