I would be a bit concerned about the impact resistance of AL roofing
products and about how they hold up in a salt water environment. Can you
walk on the roof without damaging it? The coating is pretty bombproof no
doubt but once compromised I wonder if the warranty is still good?
Steel shingles like those which Moose linked would be preferable IMHO
...made of rolled steel, not aluminum, but are still called tin roofs.
Yes. A majority of roofs around here are Champion Snap-Loc. Boring.
Affordable. You can walk on it and flying branches do little damage.
