Consider that such glitches might also be in your (non-video) data. Too
bad ECC RAM is very rare these days.

At least the research was helpfull and apart from the money a new
macbook might not be the end of the world but there is rumours of anti
reflective coatings and the next generation of processors on the
horizon so the longer it works the better.
