Hi Chuck,
I have an Adaptec 2940 of some type, I think the UW version. Win7 drives it
with an Adaptec AIC-7870 driver (djsvs.sys).
The Plextor CD-ROM player uses the same Microsoft driver (cdrom.sys) that
is utilized for the sata DVD-RW drive. In short: nothing fancy at all :)
