most people care to admit in public. I know that's definitely the case
with my uncle. He was raised in a reasonably racist blue-collar Italian
family. Somehow, my mother escaped that, and my other uncle did as well.
But for the blocked one, it's an unhealthy combo of racism and extremist
conspiracy-theory-believeingness. Ironic, since Italians themselves have
been the target of plenty of racism over the years....
