I would certainly agree, with extremely rare exception.
I'm reminded of another NGS contract photographer who did a feature
story on Cuba a few years ago. If I recall, correctly, his standard
configuration was an Leica M body, Fujichrome VELVIA, a pipsqueek
on-camera flash with an orange filter over it.
Somehow, it actually worked, but I'm sure it drove the people doing
the scanning and image preparation nuts.
