Mono Pole Moose undobutedly noted the amazing production
of a first cousin--a magnetic Mono Pole. Published in Nature just a few
days ago:

A real monopol would be sufficient to specify the smallest possible
value of an electric charge and explain why charge is quantized.

This is not a real monopole in the wild though. In fact, it is a real
neat quantum simulation and not clear if it can really be considered
a true synthetic one though it behaves as such and all the math
apparently works.
