Glad to hear that only your expectations of terra firma have been 
injured.  I already knew that South Carolina wasn't far enough south to 
guarantee no snow or ice (I well remember the day before Christmas in 
Charleston in 1962) but hadn't expected to be reminded of it so soon.  I 
haven't seen any video coverage of Charleston but Atlanta is a zoo and 
will probably be so again tonight and tomorrow.

Still glad to be in Palmetto, Florida at the moment where it's a rainy, 
ugly 54 degrees F. (but yesterday was gorgeous)  A also got to see some 
"war birds" in Sarasota this morning before the rain started.
